About Us

It was during a service at Inland Hills Church (IHC) in December of 2007 that Pastor Dave was discussing the importance of tithing. Having never been in a position to tithe, I thought it would be a great idea to start a business that was financially successful enough that I could tithe my income from it. This idea then grew into a desire to not only give from my own personal income, but to also give 10% of any profits that my business may make. That’s when the name “Ten For God” came to me. I liked that not only does the name define what I am doing. But it also is an affirmative call to God. “10-4 God”. For those of you who are not familiar with CB or walkie talkie lingo. “10-4” is a good thing.

Ten For God, L.L.C. and 10-4God.com came to life, legally, in January of 2008. Very soon there-after, I opened 10-4God.com as a retail webstore that sold gifts, collectibles, household décor, and many other items. Needless to say, the site failed miserably. This failure prompted me to rethink what I was trying to do and how I was doing it. The point of TFG was to provide myself with a source of income, provide IHC with financial resources for their many missions and ministries, and to help spread the word of God. In February of 2009 I shut down the webstore and I quickly went to work thinking of ideas for a new eye catching logo as well as putting together verses from the bible and designs that were both God honoring and fashionable.

With the help of Jon Tabor from ,J Tabor Design we were able to quickly come up with the first 10-4God t-shirt designs. It is my hope that people will find what I am trying to accomplish a worthy ambition and will buy clothes from my website. I have spent many years as an I.T. professional. Though my career has had many bright moments, it has not been very satisfying. Not to mention, I am about to suffer my third layoff in 4 years. TFG is a long time dream of mine and I hope and pray that it will bring much success to myself, my church, and others who can and will benefit from it.

Thank you and God bless.
